How to get into the SPEA building

Big changes for the start of the school year

On August 8, available routes into the SPEA building will change again, due to construction and railroad fencing plans.

X marks how you cannot get into the SPEA building

The steps from Fee Lane will be removed starting on August 8 and a fence blocking this entry point across the railroad tracks will be erected. Also, the front entry into SPEA off of 10th Street will not be available for the duration of the expansion and renovation project.

But, you can enter SPEA through the Hodge Hall Undergraduate Center!

No matter how you enter Hodge—through A, B, C, or D as marked on the map above—

your goal is to make it to the interior ramp leading to SPEA. Follow the directions below, or watch our video version

A. Enter Hodge Hall from 10th Street by the SPEA construction fencing.

B. Enter Hodge Hall at the corner of 10th and Fee.

C. Enter Hodge Hall through the doors up the steps from Fee Lane. (Access varies.)

D. Or, get to SPEA from the 11th and Fee parking garage by going through the Kelley Graduate Center then taking the bridge over Fee Lane and on through Hodge.

No matter how you entered Hodge Hall, once you see this ramp, you have made it to SPEA!
Congratulations!
